Paiste 2002 Cymbals Reviews 5

I bought these cymbals new from Guitar Center in Clear Lake, Texas. A pair of 14" Sound Edge Hats, a 20' Ride, and 2 Crashes(18" & 17") only set me back $850. That's also with the 3 year replacement guarantee. Thanks Ortiz! A heck of a deal.

Awesome sound. I can't emphasize that enough. I've played Zildjians ans Sabians, and though they were good, they don't even come close. You can use these plates for almost any gig(save maybe jazz or big band). The hats are incredible. Crisp, loud, punchy, sweet chick sound, and a KILLER half-open ride sound. The ride compliments the hats well. It is by far the ultimate ride sound I've heard. Absolutely awesome.

Not a thing. Be warned, though, for jazz or other such lower volume situations, these won't do.(You should check out the Paiste Traditionals or go get some K's)

Topnotch. Hand-made, hand-lathed, great retro look. Oh, and that giant red Paiste logo...mmmm, yummy.

Buy 'em. They are pricey, but worth it. Save up, and bring cash like i did, you'll probably get a better deal
